This candle is meant to accompany A Riot at the United Nations: Black Power Internationalism zine written by Mariame Kaba and published through Sojourners for Justice Press. It has a floral top note to represent Maya Angelou who was an avid gardener and lover of flowers, a raspberry middle for Lorraine Hansberry, and an amber musk bottom note to represent Harlem and Malcolm X who refused to condemn the protests at the United Nations.
